About Me

I’m a passionate person with many interests and pursuits. I enjoy painting, bonsai horticulture, photography, a wide variety of literature, and much more. As an autodidact, I’m constantly studying, learning, and adapting to the ever-changing environment we all find ourselves in.
I hail from Connecticut, where I was born and raised, but I currently reside in Florida, a state I’ve been in so long I now consider it my home.

In my early childhood, I learned the basics of computing both in school, where I excelled at typing, and at home, where my family got me my very own computer from an early age to try to cultivate an interest in the subject. Needless to say, their plan worked, and through the years, between games of Doom and Quake, my horizons broadened as I studied Lightwave 3D, Corel Draw, GNU/Linux, HTML, PHP, and numerous other software applications which had a tangible impact on me. The internet was the wild west in the pre-broadband dial-up days, and it was in this milieu that I first learned the foundational knowledge that set me on the course I’ve been on ever since.
The first website I ever built is kept online by a good friend of mine after nearly 20 years.
Me Looking Serious

As the years passed, I developed a keen interest in graphic design, programming, and web development. I volunteered my time working on numerous small open-source software projects and got involved in the Amiga, Linux and FreeBSD communities. I also began to dabble in 3D and learned the Lightwave 3D software package, which I used to design for many years.

Through the years, I’ve moved numerous times and taken the gamble of working with a multitude of startup companies in various industries. Most notable, perhaps, is that I’ve always strived to challenge myself to learn new skills and adapt. I’ve worn the hat of Developer, Clinical Research Coordinator, Marketing Director, Designer, Senior Consultant, and even Technical Director, and it is through this changing of hats that I learned to take a multi-disciplinary approach to business and to apply critical thinking to the daily problem solving needed in the modern world.

Most recently (Working under the nom de plume Jake Glass), I’ve worn the hat of Program Development Director at Rocketdriver, where I helped to found and develop a small startup company into one of the leading white label service providers in its respective industry. Most notable was my role in developing more then 50 hours of video training and hosting hundreds of live webinars, training collectively thousands of individuals in the in’s and out’s of consultative sales in the internet marketing arena.
